NHBRC TEST QUESTIONS & ANSWERS 2020

The NHBRC test is an open computer book test that consists of 25 multiple choice questions divided into sections as shown below. In order to pass the test, you need 13 marks out of 25. The time duration for the test is 1 hour & 30 minutes. Usually, an invigilator will assist you within the first few minutes to set up your username, password as well as the details of your company on the NHBRC’s computer.

On the day of the test, please make sure that you take along with you, your R 745.61 invoice together with its proof of payment as well as your ID copy otherwise, you shall not be allowed to write the test.

Please note, the Nhbrc test is NOT based on the National Home Builders Manual that you receive upon payment of the R 745.61 invoice but rather, it is based on a number of SANS manuals which are too plenty to mention here.

SECTIONS OF THE NHBRC TEST

  • Major Concrete Works (2 Marks)
  • Minor concrete works ( 2 Marks)
  • Foundation (1 Mark)
  • Walling (5 Marks)
  • Masonry Walling (2 Marks)
  • Roofing Timber (2 Marks)
  • Timber Flooring (2 Marks)
  • General Question (5 Marks)

Right here, on our website, you can find the 125 Questions that the Nhbrc examines on a rotational basis. Please note, you might not be able to view the PDF on a mobile phone, however, you can still log onto a laptop or desktop and access the same materials. The test is free, however,  our answer sheet and study materials cost R 600.  You will need a password to access the answer sheet & the study notes. Call our office for more info.

OPTION 1 –

PURCHASE THE PASSWORD TO THE PAID TEST PDF, ANSWER SHEET & STUDY GUIDE FOR ONLY R 600.

We charge a flat fee of R 600 to give you the access password to the non redacted test, answer sheet as well as the study material. Remember, the test is an open book test and you can take these study note materials with you into the exam.  We do not suggest for you to take the test questions into the exam, however, the study notes contains all the answers to the Nhbrc questions. We suggest you study our study notes and answer the questions to the test. Then mark your answers and keep on going back to those questions that you are struggling with. Once you get the answers correct, you will be able to pass your NHBRC exam. Do not try to cram the answers to the questions as you will forget them, rather try to get to know, where the answers to the question can be found in the study material. Our study notes are less than 25 pages and should be easy to master if you really want to pass your NHBRC exam. You can access all our materials with one password by paying R 600 into our Fixonate’s Fnb Account No: 62686499924, Branch Code: 250655. Please use your  cellphone number as the deposit reference as the access code will be sent to your phone. If you are not comfortable with the writing of NHBRC test, you can see our options 2 &3 below.

OPTION 2 –

HIRE  OUR TECHNICAL MANAGERS TO WRITE THE TEST ON BEHALF OF YOUR COMPANY (R 2800)

The NHBRC does not dictate nor stipulate who should write the Nhbrc test on behalf of a company.

As long as the technical manager has been appointed by the company’s director/s or member/s, this person will be allowed to write the exam and there is nothing illegal or fishy about this arrangement.

We can get you one of our technical managers who have been fully trained in terms of the NHBRC regulations to write the test on behalf of your company.

Even if you have already registered and failed with the first opportunity, we can still get you someone as long as the 30 day window period has not expired as yet.

If you have failed more than twice, there is still an opportunity to restart the registration from the beginning.

If you have already registered and you are simply waiting to write the test, all you need to do is to forward us a copy of the R 745.61 invoice, together with your ID copy as well as proof of payment of this invoice.

We shall dispatch a technical manager to go and write for you immediately. Once our candidate has passed the test, we shall send you confirmation results, in which case, you can then pay us for the passing of the test.

We charge a flat fee of R 2,800 for this service which you pay after you have confirmed the results of your test. See option 3 if you have not started the registration process at all.

OPTION 3 –
